Templar Protective Associates is looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to help keep everyday financial activities organized and running smoothly. This role involves handling invoices, payments, customer accounts, and basic financial records while working closely with the rest of the team.

You do not need to know everything on day one. We’re open to candidates with accounting experience as well as organized individuals with strong computer and administrative skills who are willing to learn.

Salary: $82,000 – $135,000 per year

What You’ll Do:

• Process incoming invoices and outgoing payments accurately and on time.
• Record customer payments and keep account information up to date.
• Review invoices, receipts, and payment records for accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding customer balances when needed.
• Assist with billing and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized digital financial records and documentation.
• Enter and update information using accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Help prepare basic financial reports and account summaries.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with month-end accounting tasks and other financial projects.
• Help identify and resolve simple discrepancies in billing or payment records.

What We’re Looking For:

• Comfortable using a computer, email, spreadsheets, and basic office software.
• Good attention to detail and ability to keep information organized.
• Comfortable working with numbers and checking information for accuracy.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to manage routine tasks while staying on schedule.
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, billing, or office experience is helpful but not required .
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or another accounting system is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
