IT Consultant, Storage & Data Protection

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in place of the degree
• At least 10 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a closely related area

• We lead as the primary technical authority across project teams, shaping technical direction and overseeing IT systems
• We drive multiple workstreams by identifying customer and operational needs, developing policies and procedures, securing cross-functional alignment, and turning business strategy into executable requirements
• We remove blockers, establish standards, measure progress, and create contingency plans to keep performance on track
• We practice strong self-leadership, encourage continuous learning, and coach others through feedback, collaboration, and mentoring
• We guide IT consultants in defining process and system requirements across multiple business areas in partnership with stakeholders and IT teams
• We use a range of requirements-gathering methods to capture business, functional, and non-functional needs across the enterprise
• We develop and document detailed business cases, including cost, benefit, ROI, and total cost of ownership analysis for complex solutions
• We steer the evolution of applications, systems, and processes toward future-state designs by assessing current-state impacts on operations
• We map current-state and future-state processes and determine how requirements affect upstream and downstream solution components
• We advise executive leaders on aligning requirements with existing systems and business processes
• We assess and prioritize gaps and opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• We lead solution design sessions and translate requirements into practical business solutions with IT teams
• We recommend additional data or services needed to resolve business issues tied to process or solution design
• We support the evaluation of third-party vendors when needed
• We champion continuous improvement by developing and maintaining standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise
• We recommend regional and national process enhancements that align with best practices and strategic business goals
