Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs thoroughly.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies for clients, leveraging evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and coordinate comprehensive care for each client.

• Document progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Foster a supportive and safe environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and emotions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals and families with limited access to traditional mental health services, ranging from children to older adults. You will provide care to those experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. As an LPC at Desert Mind, you'll be instrumental in bridging the gap for clients who are seeking help but face barriers to traditional support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, we highly value candidates with specialized training or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, treating substance misuse, or trauma-informed care, as these skills will greatly enhance our team's ability to provide comprehensive care to our diverse client population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on your experience and caseload. In addition to competitive pay, you can expect:
