Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring each client receives personalized treatment tailored to their needs. You will facilitate discussions that promote emotional processing and coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals and other clinicians to ensure a coordinated treatment approach, contributing to a holistic understanding of each client’s needs and goals.

• Perform initial intake appointments, wherein you will assess and document clients' mental health statuses, create and implement comprehensive treatment plans, and establish measurable goals that guide therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress using our clinical documentation software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development that enhances your skills and informs your practice, while staying current with mental health trends and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing mental health challenges, particularly those experiencing acute crises, including but not limited to adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. You will utilize a trauma-informed approach, understanding the complexity of each client’s experiences and providing them with the support they need to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Washington State.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant mental health counseling experience, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Previous experience working directly with children and adolescents in mental health settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
