Our client, one of the world's largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics, providing and managing supply chain solutions for thousands is looking for a Collections Specialist to join the team.Primary Responsibilities:Manage and maintain Accounts Receivable aging for business units including performance of collection efforts, reconciliation of customer accounts, and generation of reports for all business entities.Maximize all cash collections and maintain cash flow forecastPrepare monthly statements for customers as neededHandle and resolve all customer disputes by researching dispute and producing all necessary paperwork to resolve said disputeInterface with client and internal clients, and send reminder letters to past-due accountsMaintain listing of all problem accounts and report to Account Managers to resolve AR problemsAssist in monthly invoicing process to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc invoicing as neededMaintain filing of all relevant recordsPerform financial analyses including customer discounts, customer relationship management, and cash flowsResponsible for key metrics such as weekly cash receipt targets, month end closed deadlines, and customer service and problem resolutionOther duties as assignedKnowledge And Skill Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred, relevant experience may be substituted3-5 years of experience in billing and/or collectionsStrong analytical abilityStrong verbal and written communication skills
