Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Provide virtual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Engage with students, fostering a safe space for them to discuss mental health concerns, coping strategies, and personal development.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with school staff, educators, and parents to create a supportive environment for students’ mental health.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and observed outcomes.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adolescents and young adults, providing them with the tools they need to navigate mental health challenges. Your expertise will be vital in addressing a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to social pressures. Your experience with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals from varied backgrounds, will enrich the support you provide.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current, active LCSW license to practice in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience in clinical counseling, specifically working with adults 18 years and older.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to establish rapport with clients.
\n
• Professional malpractice insurance is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and/or psychodynamic therapy methods.

• Prior involvement in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and knowledge of challenges they may face.

• Experience addressing men's mental health issues is advantageous but not required.

• Previous work with minority and diverse populations is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
