Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our interdisciplinary team. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, utilizing advanced technologies and communication tools to coordinate care for our clients effectively. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health issues and substance use patterns, focusing on identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans that address their specific needs, integrating therapeutic approaches and interventions.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to cultivate coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinating care efforts with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach is taken for each client.

• Implementing regular substance use monitoring practices and utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to reinforce client commitment to recovery.

• Educating clients and their families about the interconnections between mental health and substance use disorders and explaining the critical importance of consistent treatment adherence.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interventions, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in case conferences and training sessions to stay updated on best practices related to co-occurring disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will engage with diverse clients, each facing unique challenges and requiring tailored support to achieve recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based practices concerning co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Solid understanding of how mental health impacts substance use and vice versa.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience working directly with clients facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

• Knowledge of community resources and support services available for clients.

• Familiarity with telehealth services and related technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
