Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including comprehensive psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient.

• Collaborate with patients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs, cultural considerations, and personal goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group settings, adapting approaches to meet different contexts.

• Deliver crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute distress and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to enhance continuity of care.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.

• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge and skills to manage their mental health conditions effectively.

• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment and care.

• Conduct regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adapt interventions based on patient progress.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health and integrate this knowledge into daily practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skill level.
