Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to gather detailed information about their substance abuse history, mental health background, and individual treatment needs.

• Develop customized treatment plans that not only address substance use challenges but also explore underlying mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), adapting techniques to meet client needs.

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nursing staff, and case managers, to coordinate integrated and comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Educate and provide support to clients' families, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process and promoting active involvement in their loved one's treatment.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements, employing electronic health record systems as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily consist of individuals dealing with substance use disorders, often complicated by co-occurring mental health issues. You will work with diverse populations, including adolescents and adults, facilitating individualized care plans that address both addiction and mental health needs. Your role is critical in helping clients navigate challenges, build coping strategies, and reintegrate into their communities successfully.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD.
