Location: Commack, NY Job Type: Full-time, On-site Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 annually, based on experiencePosition SummaryLiberty Moving & Storage is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead our commercial sales team, manage established client relationships, and oversee the sales process within our commercial moving division.This role is focused on sales leadership, account management, pricing and proposal oversight, and coordination with operations. The Commercial Sales Manager will not be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, or generating new business.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach a team, establish accountability, strengthen existing customer relationships, and work closely with operations to deliver an excellent customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the commercial sales team.Establish performance expectations, goals, territories, and account assignments.Monitor individual and team performance, sales activity, active opportunities, and forecasts.Manage and strengthen relationships with existing commercial clients and strategic accounts.Oversee proposals, RFP responses, pricing, job costing, and commercial sales presentations.Ensure customer information, account activity, and sales opportunities are accurately maintained in the company's CRM.Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and organized project handoffs.Monitor major projects and assist with resolving customer concerns.Participate in recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and the continued development of sales team members.Promote accountability, collaboration, customer retention, and a high standard of service.QualificationsAt least five years of sales experience in commercial moving, logistics, transportation, relocation, facilities services, or another business-to-business service industry.Previous experience managing, supervising, or coaching a sales team.Demonstrated success in sales leadership, account management, and customer retention.Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Experience with proposals, pricing, RFPs, contracts, and CRM systems.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Commercial moving industry experience is strongly preferred but not required.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a true people leader-not simply an individual producer with a management title.
