Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, to guide clients through their therapeutic journey.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to address client needs.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive records in our EHR system, documenting treatment progress and making updates as necessary.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care, including making appropriate referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists.

• Provide clients with tools and coping strategies to help manage their conditions effectively.

• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, substance use challenges, and eating disorders. Your ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from various backgrounds is essential to ensuring effective treatment outcomes. Emphasizing cultural competence in therapy, you will adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs and preferences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Extensive knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing culturally responsive individual and group therapy.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
