Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Therapists will have the opportunity to conduct sessions via secure telehealth platforms, but also have access to our outpatient office in Elizabeth when face-to-face interaction is necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish trusting, secure relationships with clients to create a safe therapeutic environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and diagnose mental health issues effectively.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client's unique circumstances and needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual and relationship therapy sessions, providing insightful guidance and support to help clients navigate their emotional challenges.

• Regularly consult with clients to adjust treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring ongoing effectiveness and responsive care.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting the therapeutic approach as needed to meet evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals and families dealing with a wide array of issues, including but not limited to relationship challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring approaches to best meet their specific cultural and personal needs.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential is mandatory.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• Knowledge of and experience in addiction therapy or a related specialty is strongly preferred.
\n
• Excellent skill in therapeutic interventions and counseling methodologies, accompanied by effective motivational techniques to encourage client progress.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of our clinical team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficient in evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Experience in conducting both group and individual therapy sessions in various settings.

• Familiarity with telehealth systems and technology used for virtual therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
