Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person counseling sessions, encouraging open discussions about emotions and life experiences, thus fostering self-awareness and personal growth.

• Advocate for the specific needs of clients by actively collaborating with them to set realistic and achievable mental health goals.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Utilize solution-focused therapy techniques and cognitive-behavioral strategies to promote effective coping mechanisms and enhance clients' emotional resilience.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress to comply with both legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. The focus is on providing inclusive and affirming care to help clients navigate a spectrum of emotional difficulties, behavioral issues, and life transitions. You will also address challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience delivering counseling services to various populations, with a specific focus on individuals and families.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A commitment to cultural competence, emphasizing the importance of providing inclusive and sensitive care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge of and experience with specific treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
