Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Inner Spark Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating directly with students and their families to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, strengths, challenges, and cultural backgrounds.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), in one-on-one, couple, family, and group settings, while ensuring that sessions remain supportive and effective.

• Implementing crisis intervention strategies to assist students in acute distress, maintaining a calm and effective approach to manage immediate concerns while facilitating communication with other healthcare professionals involved in the student's care.

• Documenting clinical evaluations meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely records of progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with our clinic's policies and regulatory standards.

• Providing psychoeducation to students and their families to empower them with effective coping skills and tools tailored to manage specific mental health conditions.

• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to enable comprehensive care, fostering an integrated approach to mental health.

• Evaluating treatment outcomes regularly to assess progress and make necessary updates to care plans, ensuring the highest quality of treatment.
