Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to identify the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students and their families, integrating cultural considerations and personal goals into care strategies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in a variety of settings, including one-on-one and group therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention services, working effectively with educational staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate care for students in acute distress.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and confidentiality regulations.

• Empower students and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with knowledge and skills to manage mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care and support services.

• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment outcomes, adjusting plans where necessary to maximize effectiveness and address evolving needs.
