Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of clients.

• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and monitor client progress.

• Completing all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to state and federal regulations.

• Engaging in collaborative discussions with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to mental health services for involved clients.

• Leading group therapy sessions focused on mental health disorders, substance abuse, and other relevant issues.

• Participating in regular clinical supervision sessions to support professional development and enhance therapeutic skills.

• Contributing to case conferences and treatment planning for individuals receiving and being considered for mental health treatment.

• Possibly conducting psychological testing as part of the client evaluation process.

• Supervising and mentoring social work interns or student volunteers as needed.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be considered for this role:
