Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Sentara, you will engage in activities that significantly influence our clients' paths to recovery:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: You will guide dynamic and supportive group sessions, allowing clients to connect, share, and learn from their collective experiences.

• Providing Individual Therapy: You will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, focusing on empathy and active listening to help clients explore their emotional landscapes and develop actionable coping strategies.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborating with clients, you will design individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and aspirations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30, specifically those engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). We are dedicated to addressing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
