Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' psychological trauma history, collaboratively deciding on personalized treatment routes.

• Create, implement, and periodically revise individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, leveraging the latest evidence-based methodologies.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help patients work through their trauma.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care that fosters optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, equipping them with tools to manage emotional challenges effectively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical requirements in healthcare practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma-informed therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The position focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced profound trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed practices in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
