Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Meridian Health Behavioral Services, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

- Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals. \n
- Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care. \n
- Providing evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. \n
- Facilitating referrals to specialty care or inpatient treatment when necessary, ensuring that clients receive the appropriate level of care. \n
- Implementing mental health policies and compliance measures within the behavioral health program, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines. \n
- Screening patients for substance abuse issues and providing or coordinating counseling and referral services as needed. \n
- Conducting intake evaluations and maintaining accurate and confidential electronic patient records that facilitate continuity of care. \n
Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population experiencing substance use disorders and various mental health conditions. You will work with individuals in early stages of recovery at the Detox Center, providing essential support and interventions during a critical period of their journey towards healing. Your expertise will help clients navigate their challenges effectively while empowering them to achieve lasting recovery outcomes.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid LCSW license to practice in Arizona. \n
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health interventions. \n
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, staff, and stakeholders. \n
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms. \n
