Accounts Payable ClerkConstruction Resources – Surfaces/Natural Stone Division Location: Decatur, GAPosition SummaryConstruction Resources is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role assists with the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting internal teams with general accounts payable activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with processing invoices and performing routine accounts payable functions in accordance with company proceduresSupport vendor account maintenance, including communication and issue resolutionHelp ensure accuracy of financial records and proper documentation of transactionsAssist with invoice approvals and payment processing workflowsReconcile accounts and help identify and resolve discrepanciesPartner with internal departments to support purchasing and payment processesMaintain organized records in accordance with company policies and audit requirementsPerform administrative and accounting support tasks as neededQualificationsPrevious experience in accounts payable, clerical accounting, or a related field preferred but not requiredWillingness to learn; training may be providedStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environmentWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-based role in a professional settingMay involve extended periods of sitting and computer useAdditional InformationConstruction Resources is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to protected characteristics.This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the role and is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or qualifications.
