Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space, while still engaging in a collaborative environment with your peers. Our telehealth platform enables you to connect with clients effectively, making it possible to offer support and therapy without geographical barriers. We prioritize a work-life balance, and our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring you can maintain personal commitments alongside professional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on clients' lives.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals, preferences, and specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and growth.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, providing critical information regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as required to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care integration.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to improve clinical skills and share best practices.

• Advocate for clients to promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mood disorders. These may include, but are not limited to, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and bipolar disorder. It is essential to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding their unique perspectives and challenges in navigating their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, notably CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the skill to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving positive treatment outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.

• Exemplary communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in an outpatient setting or telehealth services will strongly resonate with this position's demands. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques will be beneficial to enhancing client treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
