Location: Newport Beach, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite)

Duration: Approximately 3 Months

Pay: $26/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

A growing professional services organization is seeking a polished, proactive, and service-oriented Temporary Receptionist to support its Newport Beach office. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees while helping ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and comfortable balancing front desk responsibilities with general office support and facilities-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Manage conference room scheduling and visitor coordination
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
• Maintain reception and common areas to ensure a clean and professional appearance
• Assist with meeting setup and hospitality support
• Monitor and restock office and pantry supplies
• Coordinate supply orders and inventory management
• Support general administrative and office operations projects as needed
• Assist with light facilities-related duties, including organizing, moving, and stocking supplies

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, administrative, or office support experience preferred
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-service mindset
• Ability to lift and move office supplies and small boxes as needed
