This position will complement an existing accounting team comprised of other skilled and experienced team members.Responsibilities:• Process and monitor accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.• Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations and journal entries related to AP activities.• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors/customers to resolve billing and payment inquiries.• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to transactional processing.• Assist with audits and prepare documentation as requested by management or external auditors.Qualifications:• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing roles.• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in processing transactions.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (M3 preferred).• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Why is Thatcher right for youPay $22-$26 an hour100% company-funded Profit-Sharing Plan (up to 25% of salary annually)401(k) with traditional and Roth contribution optionsComprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, HSA/FSA,3+ weeks of PTO, and paid holidaysEducation reimbursement and ongoing professional developmentThe pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
