Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using clinically validated tools to develop customized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address specific client issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that client records are secure and up to date.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, enhancing client care through teamwork.

• Engage in peer supervision and case consultations to continuously improve clinical skills and the quality of therapeutic interventions.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to participate actively in their healing journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will include a diverse array of individuals experiencing various mental health challenges. You will work primarily with adults and adolescents facing issues such as PTSD, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. Your approach will be guided by a commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity, ensuring that each client feels respected and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A deep understanding of various therapeutic interventions, with the ability to implement these strategies effectively in a virtual setting.
