Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Montage Counseling Center, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to understand the needs of clients and formulating individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples by addressing relational dynamics, and providing strategies for resolution and healing.
\n
• Offering individual therapy to clients, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are tailored to their unique backgrounds and circumstances.
\n
• Specializing in diverse areas including, but not limited to: grief and loss, job stress, family conflict, alcohol and substance abuse, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting client progress through electronic health record systems, ensuring that treatment goals are met and adjusted as necessary.
\n
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse range of patient demographics, including adults and adolescents. The focus will be on providing individualized care that respects each client’s unique experiences and perspectives. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate challenges such as family conflicts, mental health issues, and transitional life phases like separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates will be considered, those with the following experience will be preferred:

• Previous clinical practice in a variety of settings, particularly outpatient environments.
