Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients in a comfortable environment while maintaining an outpatient office presence when necessary. You will have the opportunity to work regular hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, facilitating a balanced work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver specialized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients who seek stress relief and to enhance their overall mental well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to accurately identify clients' unique stressors and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops centered on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies that empower individuals.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions to correctly address clients’ specific mental health challenges and foster continuous personal growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach in incorporating mindfulness into an extensive treatment plan.

• Maintain precise and detailed documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and comprehensive treatment plans in compliance with organization standards.

• Engage in a regular personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection to enhance your mastery of MBSR and commitment to professional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.
