Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and treatment needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma and learn effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure coherent and integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and assist clients through acute episodes.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to foster resilience and promote community support.

• Keep meticulous and confidential documentation to meet legal and ethical requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The patients you will serve are looking for supportive guidance and expertise in their recovery journey, and many experience significant challenges related to their trauma histories. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• Two years of post-licensure experience working directly with trauma-affected populations is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
