ByteWise LLC is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Order Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. This is a full-time position for candidates based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of customer orders, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the sales and operations teams. We are looking for a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent working environment. The pay for this role is between $20 - $28 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently input customer purchase orders into our internal systems.
• Review all orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies before processing.
• Verify customer information, shipping details, and pricing to prevent errors.
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and other internal departments to resolve any order discrepancies or to clarify missing information.
• Maintain and update customer records and order logs with a high degree of precision.
• Assist in generating order acknowledgements, invoices, and other related documentation.
• Respond to internal enquiries regarding order status and tracking information.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the order entry process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient typing and data entry skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and maintain high performance in a remote setting.
• Previous experience with CRM or ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Candidates must be based in the United States.
