Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
\n
• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families both in-person and through telehealth platforms, ensuring a culturally sensitive approach.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address clients' various needs.
\n
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes in adherence to HIPAA regulations using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to facilitate continuity of care.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment with other mental health professionals.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to support their understanding of mental health issues.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ needs within community resources and support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from varied cultural backgrounds. Our clients may face challenges related to trauma, grief and loss, behavioral issues, and relational dynamics. You will focus on providing a safe space where all clients feel valued and understood, enabling effective treatment and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Fluency in both English and Spanish with strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and respect for the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.
\n
• Proficient in using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and telehealth platforms.
\n
• Possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance to travel for in-person sessions if required.
\n
• Willingness to provide services as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• A strong motivation for continuous learning and development in therapeutic practices.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

\n
• Specialized training in CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or similar modalities.
\n
• Expertise in additional areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
\n
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Prior work experience in community health settings.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We additionally offer a sign-on bonus, health insurance, professional development support, flexible scheduling, and potential for bonuses based on performance.
