Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will undertake the following essential responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of clients, designing and implementing tailored treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and connecting them with appropriate resources.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster client growth and resilience.

• Maintain accurate and organized electronic client records, documenting sessions, progress notes, and treatment updates as per compliance standards.

• Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resource specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. Many clients face challenges related to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and substance use. Your ability to provide culturally competent and empathetic care will be crucial in ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling to a diverse clientele.
