Family Law Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law Litigation Associate in Silver Spring, MD. The firm handles family law cases, including divorces, custody, child support, and post-nuptial/pre-nuptial agreements, across Maryland and DC. The firm values work-life balance and offers a supportive environment for professional growth. Duties Manage and litigate family law cases from inception to resolution. Draft legal documents, including pleadings and agreements. Conduct legal research and analysis. Represent clients in court and mediation sessions. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law practice. Licensed to practice law in Maryland and DC. Strong litigation and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in Maryland and DC. Skills Proficiency in legal research and case management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
