Work Environment

The PMHNP position is located onsite at our assisted living facility in Plano, Texas. Regular business hours from 9 AM to 5 PM contribute to a work-life balance while allowing ample time for patient interaction and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients' mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management services while continuously monitoring and adjusting medications based on response and side effects.
• Collaborate effectively with primary care providers, social workers, and psychiatric staff members to deliver integrated care that combines physical and mental health services.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support during times of emotional distress, ensuring patients receive immediate and appropriate care.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental illness.
• Provide therapeutic support through counseling and psychoeducation, empowering patients with tools to manage their mental health proactively.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring all documentation reflects comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
