Sunbelt Home Solutions is a fast-growing home improvement company serving homeowners throughout Florida. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in St. Petersburg.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who has a basic understanding of A/R and A/P and is ready to learn. Extensive experience isn't required. We're willing to train and develop the right person who brings attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to grow.
What You'll Do
- Enter daily customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card charges
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on payment delays or discrepancies
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate A/R records
- Reconcile A/R, A/P, and credit card accounts at month-end
- Work with our sales and customer service teams to resolve billing questions
- Communicate with our production team regarding subcontractor and vendor issues
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred, but not required
- Entry-level accounting experience or relevant education is welcome
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable communicating with different departments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Lead Perfection experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and continue developing your accounting skills

This is a full-time, on-site position in St. Petersburg, Florida. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
