They do not manufacture individual products; they architect complex physical interior environments for major health systems, higher education institutions, and Fortune 500 corporations. By seamlessly integrating high-end contract furniture packages with cutting-edge modular interior construction systems (such as DIRTT architectural walls), they de-risk massive capital footprint projects for enterprise occupiers. This platform is engineered specifically for high-performing business development professionals who want to transition from transactional product flipping to commanding an entire regional infrastructure vertical. This role is about securing large-scale capital infrastructure wins by de-risking complex, high-volume contract furniture and interior execution projects for executive healthcare decision-makers. The Tactical Scope: The Theater of Operations and Revenue Strategy The client does not hand professionals a generic checklist of daily duties; they provide a market territory and the backing required to dominate it. The role operates with downstream command, orchestrating specific outcomes across the landscape: Business Development & Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to achieve annual sales, margin, and market share objectives. Establish, grow, and maintain deep relationship networks with healthcare executives, procurement teams, clinicians, and specialized design/construction partners to promote furniture solutions that support patient care and wellness. Account Management & Lifecycle Command: Serve as the definitive primary point of contact throughout the entire sales cycle and project lifecycle. Project, Proposal, & GPO Development: Collaborate with internal design, project management, and client services teams to build accurate, compliant proposals and RFP responses. Pipeline Architecture & CRM Precision: Maintain a transparent, healthy sales pipeline and deliver hyper-accurate revenue forecasting. Consistently manage CRM updates, monitor regional market and competitor developments, and participate in strategic account reviews to maintain market dominance. The DNA of a Business Development Lead – Healthcare Interiors: The High-Performer Profile The search is focused on a high-caliber closer who matches this profile: The Technical & Consultative Core: A baseline high school diploma or GED is required (with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or Interior Design). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and fully equipped for regional territory travel with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
