Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology - New Orleans, LA /Baton Rouge, LA / Lafayette, LA

Position Summary Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand and adoption of BMS medicines within a defined territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated, label-consistent scientific dialogue. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications within territory; meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly. Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients. Maintain/grow scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas. Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account plans. Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); ensure medical accuracy. Organize external speaker programs (select speakers, manage scheduling/logistics). Stay current on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve Customer Experience (Cx); share insights internally. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse). Experience in Hematology/Oncology. Proven account management, selling/promotion skills, and ability to meet/exceed goals. Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately. Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude. Desired Skills/Competencies Customer/commercial mindset; patient‑centric mindset. Strong presentation, analytical, and learning agility; comfort using technology/CRM and CE^3. Compensation & Benefits Field (US): $144,500–$175,100; additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-dependent).
