Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology -Washington East

Position Summary Field-based (100% time in the field). Primary point of contact for HCPs to drive adoption of BMS medicines through deeper scientific, label-consistent dialogue and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx). Key Responsibilities Portfolio Promotion Promote approved indications to meet/exceed compliant sales targets. Create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale. Maintain/grow scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement territory and account plans. Use CE^3 (if implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement. Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue Use approved resources/publications accurately and consistently with label. Conduct in-office presentations and discuss label-consistent scientific information. Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau lists; scheduling/logistics). Stay current on emerging data for approved indications. Provide real-time support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/technical inquiries. Cross-functional collaboration Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally. Comply with all relevant laws/regulations/policies. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse. Hematology/Oncology experience required. Strong scientific communication; account management and selling skills; proven sales performance. Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do mindset.
