Dealer Operations Support Specialist

Role Description

Caramel, now part of eBay, is a fast-growing auto tech company founded in 2021, designed to revolutionize the car sale process for independent dealers and private party transactions. The Operations Support Specialist - Dealer Team will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations within our expanding dealer channel. This position empowers the Dealer Account Executive team, enabling them to focus on cultivating relationships and driving sales growth. By executing established processes, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating communication across various functions, you will be instrumental in supporting the team's success.

What you will accomplish:

• Transaction Management: Support the Dealer Account Executive team in managing sales to completion, ensuring necessary documents are processed through DocuSign or similar systems, guiding buyers through the process, and submitting finalized deals to lenders.
• Lender Funding Management: Monitor and follow up on the status of deals submitted to lenders, coordinating with dealers, buyers, and the Dealer Account Executive to address any additional requirements or corrections.
• Post-Purchase Assistance: Serve as a contact for post-purchase inquiries, addressing questions related to DMV processes, lending issues, and transaction-related concerns to ensure smooth customer experiences.
• Title and Sales Review: Conduct thorough reviews of titles and other required documentation submitted by dealers, quickly resolving any discrepancies to facilitate timely transactions.
• Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Dealer Account Executives, allowing them to focus on strategic activities and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Operational Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operations support or a similar role, preferably within the automotive or tech industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software, along with experience using electronic document management systems like DocuSign.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of interacting effectively with team members, dealers, buyers, and external partners.
• Problem-Solving Ability: The demonstrated capability to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions.
• Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, contributing to collective goals and ensuring successful outcomes.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be overall flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the team and the business.

Requirements

• The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $37,200 - $73,200.
• Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
• The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
• Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
• If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
