Work Environment

This position is onsite and involves providing therapy in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized and convenient treatment experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients within their home environments to understand their unique challenges and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly document each patient's progress, responses to treatments, and any adjustments to their plans to ensure effective care.
• Engage in ongoing assessments to redefine therapeutic goals and make necessary modifications to treatment plans.
• Provide training and education to patients and their families on assistive devices and techniques that promote independence in daily living.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of physical therapy by attending workshops, reviewing relevant literature, and actively participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and caregivers.

• Flexibility and adaptability to address varying patient needs and home environments.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, ideally with home health parameters.

Compensation and Benefits
