Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment outcomes, ensuring alignment with each patient's personal recovery goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and continuously reassess patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation, including SOAP notes, care plans, and progress summaries, using our electronic record system to support quality patient care and compliance.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, managing expectations and guiding them through challenges encountered during recovery.
• Achieve and maintain minimum utilization goals while supporting the clinic's business objectives.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary with other healthcare professionals within our clinic to provide integrated care for clients receiving multiple therapeutic services.
• Exemplify the clinic's culture by actively engaging in promoting our core values and serving as an ambassador for Physiocare.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will predominantly work with a wide variety of patients across different age groups and backgrounds. Your caseload may include pediatric patients requiring rehabilitation for developmental disorders and young adults recovering from sports injuries, as well as elderly patients rehabilitating post-surgery or managing chronic conditions. Your ability to connect and communicate with diverse populations, including multilingual clients, will be critical in fostering trust and encouraging compliance during therapy.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A willingness to perform in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatment when clinically appropriate.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with a diverse range of patients.
• Flexibility and adaptability in response to the dynamic nature of healthcare settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
