Work Environment

This position is onsite at our specialized rehabilitation facility in Elizabeth, NJ. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance and time for professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to create individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and various modalities to promote physical autonomy and recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to foster a comprehensive patient care approach.
• Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, home exercise programs, and preventive measures to enhance well-being.
• Implement fall prevention programs tailored to the needs of our elderly clientele, ensuring safety within their living environments.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices through continuing education and training opportunities provided by the organization.
• Uphold ethical standards of practice, maintain patient confidentiality, and commit to providing the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on the geriatric population, where we specialize in offering therapy services that cater to aging-related conditions. This includes but is not limited to, post-surgical rehabilitation, mobility issues, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required for practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and their families, as well as effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
