Work Environment

Your work will take place in our welcoming outpatient office, designed to foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. At Flex Well Recovery, we believe in transparency and accountability among our team members. We provide regular payment reports to keep our staff informed and engaged. Flexibility is key; our therapists enjoy the freedom to create their own schedules and participate in the assignment of patients, enhancing job satisfaction and individual work-life balance. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs, addressing specific goals such as mobility enhancement and pain reduction.
• Deliver skilled therapy services, engaging patients with hands-on techniques, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, tailored to improve their physical functionality.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans proactively based on their changing needs and feedback to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, customized home exercise plans, and strategies to prevent injuries, enhancing their overall wellbeing.
• Implement safety measures such as fall prevention programs to mitigate risks associated with geriatric care in our assisted living community.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy through continuous education, actively seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and incorporate new evidence-based practices into your patient care.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality while contributing to our goal of providing the highest caliber of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A graduate degree (Doctorate/Master's/Bachelor's) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active physical therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families, ensuring a supportive environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) for accurate documentation and effective patient management.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy is crucial for delivering the best outcomes for patients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
