Vice President for University Advancement

The client is seeking a Vice President for University Advancement. This leadership role involves managing and overseeing the growth and development of the university's advancement programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the academic and administrative leadership to align fundraising efforts with the university's mission and strategic goals. This position requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills to enhance engagement with donors and stakeholders. The Vice President will be responsible for leading a team to increase philanthropic support and expand the alumni network. The role involves creating and implementing comprehensive advancement strategies to foster a culture of giving and managing major fundraising campaigns. This position also requires overseeing the development and management of donor relations and ensuring that all outreach efforts support the university's objectives. Qualifications for the position include a strong track record of successful fundraising in an academic or similar setting, proven leadership abilities, and outstanding organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of fundraising principles and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups are preferred. While the position is primarily based in Dallas, occasional travel may be required to meet with key stakeholders and donors.
