This role will be remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from your own home while contributing to our outpatient office based in Huntington, New York. Key Responsibilities\n

You will be responsible for a wide range of impactful tasks within our outpatient facility, including:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments that include the evaluation of any concurrent medical conditions impacting mental health.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that integrate psychological and medical care.

• Delivering evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of our patients, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for our patients.

• Providing crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients on the interrelationship between mental health and physical wellness, equipping them with the tools to manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to team meetings and case conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice focuses on serving individuals with various mental health and co-occurring medical conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain syndromes, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health support for individuals experiencing co-occurring medical conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside the ability to maintain professionalism and ethical guidelines in all interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, with a strong understanding of telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
