Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop detailed treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives tailored support.

• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, including the creation of pre-crisis plans, risk assessments, and positive behavior plans.

• Document clinical interventions and maintain accurate records while adhering to regulatory standards and deadlines.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess patient needs and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective positive behavior support strategies.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.

• Serve as a representative to relevant state agencies, community partners, and service systems, enhancing collaboration and resource sharing.

• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to meet contract requirements and uphold the mission of the Woman's Counseling Center.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to diverse populations, including individuals struggling with emotional and behavioral issues, those recovering from substance use, and clients impacted by developmental disabilities. You will work with adults and adolescents, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual while promoting their recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Current, independent LMHC license, valid for practice in New York.
