Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop highly personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique goals, preferences, and needs, leading to effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to align with evolving needs and circumstances.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to continuously improve treatment practices and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Heart & Listen Clinical Counseling, you will work primarily with individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in building trust and fostering hope in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required.
