Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder on each client.

• Develop, implement, and periodically update personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their healing journey.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to client feedback and changing circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure an integrative approach to client care, addressing both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay informed about the latest advances in mood disorder treatment and contribute to improving clinic practices based on new insights and research.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical requirements to ensure compliance and protect client privacy.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and share best practices with colleagues.

• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs within the community, working to reduce stigma and improve access to necessary resources.

Your expertise will be heavily utilized in working with individuals facing mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and other related issues. You will particularly focus on vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing them with crucial support and therapeutic resources as they navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
