Office of AIDS (OA) – ADAP Branch The Office of AIDS (OA) is an office within the California Department of Public Health, Center for Infectious Diseases, Division of HIV, HCV, and STIs. The ADAP Branch helps ensure that people living with HIV/AIDS who are uninsured and under‑insured have access to medication on ADAP’s formulary. Insurance premium payment programs within the ADAP Branch provide assistance designed to ensure access to medical care and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS. CDPH is an E‑Verify Employer. Job Description and Duties The Analyst I assists with planning, developing, reviewing, and implementing special projects, including meetings, webinars, stakeholder engagement activities, site visits, and Requests for Applications. The Analyst I gathers and analyzes project information, prepares and reviews materials, supports project workflows, and assists in the development of tools, resources, and processes that enhance program operations. The Analyst I maintains collaborative relationships with local health jurisdictions (LHJs), community‑based organizations, and internal CDPH partners to ensure alignment with program requirements and public health goals. Through these efforts, the incumbent strengthens communication channels, promotes equitable project implementation, and supports progress toward CDPH and ADAP Branch priorities. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Supervisor I, in the Strategic Projects Unit. In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027.
