Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to client needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies to clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused techniques, in order to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and support comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating diverse perspectives and expertise.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure accountability and quality care delivery.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities, staying informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Clinton County Community Therapy Center serves a varied clientele across Oak Park and the surrounding areas, including individuals from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients dealing with trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse, providing tailored support that acknowledges their unique experiences and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in clinical practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to forge strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
