This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospce Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics (Not Mechanical Engineering Technology or other Technology degrees)Experience with stress analysis of mechanized aircraft structures, such as in-flight opening doors, bell cranks, control surfaces, canopies, and landing gearExperience using classical stress analysis methods, both hand anlysis and automated algorythms based on engineering fundamentalsExperience in developing, running, and working with Finite Element ModelsExperience in a collaborative work environment and across engineering disciplinesDesired SkillsExperience with developing and analyzing landing gear, including understanding of Gas Laws and Load-Stroke CurvesExperience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, ABAQUS, and HypermeshGood interpersonal skills to lead and work with teammates in a collaborative environmentMicrosoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcel spreadsheet mathematical calculations and VBA highly desiredFamiliarity with CATIA, 3DXPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
