Employer Industry Insurance Coverage Why consider this job opportunity Salary range of $85,000 – $120,000 Flexible remote or hybrid work options available Supportive company culture emphasizing long‑term relationships Opportunity to collaborate with partners and clients in a fast‑paced environment Commitment to professional development with a billable requirement of 1,950 hours annually What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Evaluate insurance policies and assess risks, providing effective communication to clients regarding legal standards for coverage disputes Conduct extensive legal research and draft coverage opinions, briefs, memos, and pleadings Represent insurer clients in court and during depositions Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver timely coverage advice Manage deadlines and assignments with a high level of ownership and independence What is Required (Qualifications) Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school Active license to practice law in Oregon and/or Washington; additional bar admissions in Idaho or Montana are a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurer or policyholder coverage practice Experience with depositions and mediations; extended coverage opinion experience is a plus Strong client‑relations and communication skills, with a professional demeanor How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Familiarity with CGL, D&O, E&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Professional Liability, and Property policies Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
